- Eastern
Music Festival
founded
in 1962, is an internationally-acclaimed classical music festival.
With it's growing reputation and extensive schedule featuring some
of the world's greatest artists, Greensboro 's Eastern Music Festival
has become one of North Carolina 's top summer attractions

Ballet
operates
a non-profit School of Ballet in addition to annual performances
of The Nutcracker.

Opera Company

been producing classic operas, like The Barber of Seville, Madame

Theatre

the longest running professional theatre in downtown Greensboro.
This theatre is a winner of the Berilla Kerr Award for Outstanding
Contribution to Contemporary American Theatre. One of the most
popular mega-hits performed at the Broach Theatre is Always
Patsy Cline, which is based on the true story of Patsy Cline's
friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger.
