Greensboro Coliseum
The 23,000 seat Greensboro Coliseum is one of the largest entertainment,
civic and sports facilities in the Southeast and one of the most diverse.
In fact, the Coliseum Complex is the venue of choice for all sorts
of events including professional, college, and amateur sports, conventions,
trade shows, family events, and concerts, as well as various arts events.
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex not only has a large arena, but a versatile theatre space as well. War Memorial Auditorium, which features a spectacular two-story lobby, a permanent 95 x 46 wall to wall stage floor coupled with a functioning hydraulic orchestra lift that rises to stage level, permanent-tiered, multi-level seating for 2,376 and spacious dressing rooms. The War Memorial Auditorium is the proud home of The Greensboro Symphony, with annual performances by The Greensboro Opera Company and The Greensboro Ballet.
The Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center is another venue within the coliseum complex. The Special Events Center has 120,000 square feet of fully equipped floor space, of which 80,000 sq. ft. is column-free and has the flexibility to house approximately 650 10 x 10 trade show booths. The 4,300-seat theatre set-up is ideal for concerts, trade shows and sporting events. An additional 30,000 sq. ft. of column-free space is also available in the new Pavilion bringing the total exhibit space to 150,000 sq. ft.
