Gateway University Research Park
Greensboro's signature research park is physically located on two 75-acre campuses in Greensboro. Gateway University Research Park is helping to transform Greensboro and the Triad region into a high-tech research center.
- Gateway University Research Park is a state-of-art research facilities for cutting-edge work in the life and physical sciences, engineering, technology and other applied science areas.
- Leaders from the business community and the Universities are working together to use the research findings and products developed by faculty and students to connect to new and existing companies in the Triad and beyond.
- Home to the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN). The JSNN was created to train students to conduct basic and applied research in the fields of nanoscience and nanoengineering and to train scientists and engineers already in the workplace. The school will offer Professional Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Nanoscience and plans to develop degree programs in Nanoengineering as well. This program will support the entrepreneurial activities at both university campuses to better transfer innovation into practice.
