High Performance Coatings – a Nanotechnology Company Selects Guilford County for East Coast Location

Greensboro, NC (August 9, 2006) – High Performance Coatings, Inc. announced today that it has chosen Guilford County for its’ East Coast location.  The company will locate at 7237 Pace Drive.  High Performance Coatings is a revolutionary company that has introduced heat resistant space-age coatings to the motorsports, industrial, food processing, aerospace and OEM automotive and trucking industries. This will be HPC’s eighth facility worldwide with corporate headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.

 

The company analyzed the East Coast market diligently and eventually chose Guilford County for this newest operation.  High Performance Coatings will create up to 210 new jobs and an investment of $ 3 million in Guilford County by 2008.

 

HPC employs a full time engineering staff innovating, improving and manufacturing coatings. HPC’s coatings are manufactured in-house using only the finest available raw materials, allowing HPC the flexibility to respond quickly to a customer’s needs.

The High Performance Coatings project was a team effort involving Greensboro Economic Development Alliance (GEDA), the Greensboro/High Point/Guilford County Workforce Development Board, North Carolina Employment Security Commission, North Carolina Community College System, the State of North Carolina and the building owner Kevin Sasser.
