Greensboro, NC (June 28, 2006) – The Greensboro Economic Development Partnership is pleased to welcome TriQuint Semiconductor to Guilford County where they will establish a new design, research and development facility.
Headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, TriQuint supplies high-performance modules and components to the world's leading communications companies using advanced processes that include gallium arsenide (GaAs), surface acoustic wave (SAW) and build acoustic wave (BAW) technologies. Its markets include wireless handsets, base stations, broadband communications, military and foundry services.
The company plans to hire approximately 25 workers with an average wage of $85,000 to $100,000 and invest about $1.8 million.
