Wage Rates
Average wage rates are important considerations for businesses and the individuals they employ. Businesses want to be assured that they can find affordable employees and workers want to be able to make a decent living. Guilford County is able to strike that delicate balance. The county average wage of $39,974 annually allows businesses to find qualified employees at an affordable price and also provides workers the opportunity to live a comfortable lifestyle due to the area's low cost of living.
