Piedmont Triad International Airport
Airport Facilities
Known in the early 20th Century as the “best
landing field in the South,” the Piedmont Triad International
Airport continues to expand and thrive. PTIA offers a wide
variety of aviation-related services including air cargo service,
commercial aircraft maintenance, and general aviation services.
Air Cargo Service
Because the region is the manufacturing center of North Carolina, PTI's air cargo facilities offer an established international gateway superior to many larger markets. Flexibility of congestion-free air space, on-going expansion, regularly-scheduled international service and independent cargo support allows PTIA to handle virtually all types of cargo. PTI is a multi-model cargo facility with virtually all major trucking lines operating terminals near the airport. Air Cargo Companies:
